Hackintosh Laptop

Sorry for the lack of updates recently – it’s been crazy getting everything ready to go back to school. On top of that, I’ve started another new project – creating a Hackintosh laptop out of my old Asus Z96J 15.4″ Vista laptop. Without going into too many details (I plan on writing a how-to for it, as this one was a lot of trial and error to get all the components working, and no in-depth how-to exists already), the system will be at least a tri-boot (OS X, Windows 7 Pro, Ubuntu), and is almost a fully compatible Leopard system (Webcam and Wireless are not functional as of now). Everything will be booted using the Chameleon bootloader. As of now, I have all the boot media, and am starting to install the remaining OS’s as per a guide for a multi boot Lenovo S10 set up (like I said, it’s a lot of trial and error and pulling from additional sources). Check back in a week – hopefully there will be a full how-to, and some pictures of my new Hackintosh Laptop
